Nikujaga

Ingredients (2 Servings)

・100g…Thinly sliced pork
・2…Potatoes
・1/4…Onion
・1/3…Carrot
・5…Green beans
・Suitable amount…Vegetable oil
・〈A〉100ml…NINBEN “Tsuyu no moto”
・〈A〉50ml…Water

Method

  1. Cut potatoes, onion, and carrot into bite-size pieces.
    Boil green beans with salt and cut them into 4cm pieces.
  2. Warm vegetable oil in a pot on medium heat, stir-fry potato, onion, and carrot until the surface of the potato becomes translucent. Pour over A and add sliced pork.
  3. When the color of the pork changes, turn to low heat.
    Cover the ingredients with “otoshibuta” and simmer for 20 minutes.
    ★“Otoshibuta” is a Japanese-style drop lid. You can use a paper towel instead.
  4. When all ③ ingredients are cooked, softly add green beans and wait for a few minutes.
